THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me WILFRED HEYMAN JOYNSON WREFORD of “Seskinore” Omagh in the County of Tyrone Northern Ireland I REVOKE all former Wills Codicils and testamentary Instruments heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will I APPOINT THOMAS FREDERICK MADDOCKS of 23 Knightrider Street Doctors Commons in the City of London Solicitor and LADY MARJORIE HARE of 8, Embankment Gardens Chelsea In the County of Middlesex (hereinafter called “my Trustees” to be the EXECUTORS AND TRUSTEES of this my Will but should the said Lady Marjorie Hare not wish to accept the office of Executor and Trustee then I appoint the said Thomas Frederick Maddocks and Captain Anthony Charles Stuart Delmege Officers Mess King’s Dragoon Guards Aldershot in the County of Southampton. (hereinafter called “my Trustees” to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will I APPOINT the said Lady Marjorie Hare or if she shall be unwilling to act then I appoint the said Captain Anthony Charles Stuart Delmege to be the Guardian of my infant daughter Xenia Penelope during her minority AND it is my wish (and it was also the wish of my darling wife Leila) that my said daughter should attend Heathfield School Ascot for her education I BEQUEATH to the said Thomas Frederick Maddocks as a small mark of appreciation for all his many kindnesses to me my gold cigarette case, wrist watch, fitted dressing case, and gold mounted umbrella I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all my property both real and personal of whatsoever nature or kind and wheresoever situate unto my Trustees UPON TRUST to sell call In and convert into money such part thereof as shall not consist of money with power to my Trustees to postpone such sale for so long as they in their absolute discretion shall think fit and out of the proceeds of such sale calling in and conversion and out of any ready money of which I may die possessed to pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts end to invest the balance of my estate in or upon the securities hereinafter authorised and to stand possessed of such investments UPON TRUST for my said Daughter upon her attaining the age of twenty-one years absolutely AND I DIRECT that during the minority of my said Daughter my Trustees may pay or apply such part of the income of my residuary estate as they in their absolute discretion shall think fit to or for the maintenance education or benefit of my said Daughter or may at their discretion pay the said income or such part thereof as they shall think fit to the Guardian of the said Infant whose receipt shall be a sufficient discharge to my Trustees AND I FURTHER DIRECT that any surplus income remaining after such payments as aforesaid shall be accumulated by my Trustees and invested in the securities hereinafter authorised and shall then form part of the capital of my residuary estate AND I FURTHER DIRECT that if in any year the income of my residuary estate shall not be sufficient to provide for the maintenance education or benefit of my said daughter then my Trustees may resort to capital to make up such deficiency AND I FURTHER DIRECT that my Trustees shall have full power to let (whether upon a lease for a term of years or for any shorter period under any agreement) upon such terms as they in their absolute discretion shall think fit any house or real or leasehold property of which I may die possessed and to spend such sums either from capital or income as my Trustees in their unfettered discretion shall think fit upon maintaining repairing or insuring such property IT IS MY WISH that should my Trustees sell or let Seskinore House they should reserve to all members of my family or of the family of McClintock of which my darling Wife was a member the right in perpetuity to enter the said grounds for the purpose of visiting the grave of my said Wife end to keep-up the Garden of Remembrance wherein she is buried IT IS MY WISH that my body should be cremated and that my ashes should be scattered in the said Garden of Remembrance at Seskinore. MONEY liable to be invested under the trusts of this my Will may be invested: (i) In or on any investments for the time being authorised as investment for trust money or (ii) On real or leasehold securities in England or Wales or in any British Dominion Colony State or Dependency but not in (Southern) Ireland whether by way of registered charge or otherwise of (iii) In or upon the stock or Securities of any British Dominion Colony State or Dependency (other then the Irish Free State) or any province thereof or any foreign Government or State (except Russia) or of any municipal corporation or power gas electric light harbour of local authority in England or Wales or in any British Dominion Colony State or Dependency (other than the Irish Free State) or (iv) In or on the bonds mortgages debentures or debenture stock or guaranteed or preference stock or shares not payable to bearer of any railway tramway canal water dock harbour electric light or power gas or other like company public or private incorporated in the United Kingdom or any British Dominion Colony State or Dependency (other than the Irish Free State) under the Companies Acts or under any special Act of the Imperial Parliament or of any general or special Act of the Legislature of any British Dominion Colony State or dependency (other the Irish Free State) or by Royal Charter and whether trading or otherwise carrying on business in Great Britain India or any British Dominion Colony State or Dependency (other than the Irish Free State)under the Companies Act which shall have paid dividends on its ordinary stock or shares for at least three years prior to the date of investment AND I FURTHER DIRECT that any executor or trustee being a solicitor or other person engaged in any profession or business shall be entitled to be paid all usual professional or proper charges for business transacted time expended and acts done by him or any partner of his in connect ion with the trusts hereof including acts which an executor or trustee not being in any profession or business could have done personally IN WITNESS whereof I have to
